Ron Briddell grew up helping his father rehab old homes for resale. Working with his father, he learned the value of hard work and sound business practices. His dedication to quality craftsmanship soon gave this Master Carpenter a reputation as one of the most respected home remodeling and repairs professionals in the business.

Ron's huge portfolio of satisfied clients is a testament to his abilities, and helped lead to his appointment as former Consultant for the Illinois Attorney General on construction issues. Ron is also a past board member of the home builders association and former president of the Remodelors Council, and a leading outside consultant for local Insurance companies. Ron also serves as an expert witness for local law firms Ron is also a graduate and past instructor of Rankin Technical School. Making its debut on WINU Radio, this call-in program gave listeners a chance to speak with expert guests about their current home repair or remodeling project, and to gain valuable insight with respect to money saving tips. The show was an instant success, which contributed to it being carried by other stations including WGNU and WHCO.

In addition to running a successful business and appearing on his own radio show, Ron receives regular notoriety as evidence by numerous news articles about Briddell Construction. He has been very supportive of local kids in their sports and band activities. Ron has donated all the fencing and back stops for a local baseball field and has helped sponsor the local traveling baseball team also. Ron has been involved with Muscular Dystrophy for the last five years, raising money in an event called The Three Rivers Run, which is held every year in July on personal watercraft. To date, MDA has raised over $400,000. Furthermore, Briddell was asked to head up the marketing for this event in the year 2002. Also on the list, Ron was the corporate sponsor for ' Special Olympics in 2002.

Briddell Construction & Remodeling was started in 1980. The company began as a full service home building company focusing on housing budgeted in the one to three hundred thousand dollar price range.

Between 1980 and 1991, the company built approximately two hundred sixty homes consisting of various shapes, sizes, and complexities. After more than ten years of full home construction, Briddell decided to specialize in the field he felt strongest in and had the most client requests in - room additions, bathrooms, and basement finishes.
